I'm having a couple of problems with the refrigerators and it's annoying as hell!

When I buy a fridge, there is never any food already in there.
If I place leftovers in the fridge, they stay in the fridge and my sims can help themselves. Until I save and close the game. Next time I go to the fridge, it's completely empty!

I hate to see my Sims wasting money on food they can't eat!

I've updated to the latest patch, removed all mods and CC, started new save files and even reinstalled the whole game. I'm at my wits end, help please!
