Recently I downloaded the Insimenator, because somebody said the .obj version doesn't mess up Seasons. Unfortunately, it did, and I was left with no more of the Season-related stuff. I Deleted some of the things in game, and cleaned up the rest I could find in my downloads folder. I also ran the clean installer, deleting all the empty packages and random copies of packages, hoping for the best-but the Seasons-related actions still don't work in-game. I couldn't find any Insiminator-related hacks in there. Any more suggestions?

So just to check, you are saying that you cannot find the mod in your downloads folder to remove it?

That is correct.

In that case, this should help:

If that mod was the last thing you added, you'll find it with the 'sort by date' bit.

Don't forget to clear your caches too:

By the way-does anyone know of sims getting an error when trying to trim shrubs being related to the Insim, or is it just some random glitch I have?

There's no random glitch- if you are getting object errors then it's due to your CC/ Hacks. The articles I linked you to will help with that also.

Okay, I have some problems: Clean Installer will not find anything insimenator-related, I deleted all duplicates and the hacks in my downloads are ones I want. I searched my web history and found the date that I downloaded the Insim and there was nothing related to it on that date and for the next couple of days. This brings me to a few questions that I don't know if anyone can answer: Recently, I found that the game will create hexadecimal clones of CC (Those weird series's of numbers and letters for filenames for those who weren't sure). Will this happen at random, with no dates or reasons? Maybe I can't find the Insim because it has a hexadecimal filename and I deleted the original files while I was deleting all the clones. Finally, is there a possibility that the Clean Installer, though it seems to have a lot of integrity, may have missed the files for the Insim, maybe due to being objects?
The options here seem to be getting limited, (Thanks for the help, however!) and I'm going to run my game and see if clearing the caches did me any help, or if by some miracle the Insim decided to stop preventing my sims from building snowmen on command
I should post back later with a status report.

EDIT: Thank you very much! After some cache clearing and CC deleting, I went into my game today and placed down a pond. My sim was able to fish in it, so my game is functioning correctly! You have also stalled my downloads folder from trying to kill me for being stuffed so full of thousands of CC files-I must have deleted at least a thousand empty packages and clones in there One more way you solved an annoying, unrelated problem is by downloading the clean installer, I found that annoying mailbox hack that has been packaged with so many files on the exchange (Back when THAT was useful, heheh). And all these solved problems and I still forgot to check if shrubs are still glitched.

The hex number thing was a bug with CI, if I remember correctly, so yes- any file could appear as a hex number, if you installed it as part of a Sims2Pack.
