Hi, I was wondering if you guys could help me.
I had a family on Sims 2 with three infant babies and a teen male sim.
All three babies were in pretty bad shape because I hadn't fed them properly for about a day, so then the social worker came to take them away.
But instead of taking all three babies, she just took two and left one there, and she took the teen sim with her!
This really confuses me because everywhere I looked it said the social worker only takes away infants, toddlers and children. The teen sim isn't in the sim bin in neighbourhood mode either.
Is there any way I can get the teen sim back, by adoption perhaps? Or will he be lost forever?
Btw the baby that was left with the family is perfectly fine and is now a toddler, there are no problems with game play. It's like the infant and the teen somehow switched places during the social workers visit

You could use Inseminator ot Simblender to summon the teen again, but I'm not sure if the teen will still have his family ties.

This is really weird.

Sounds like you may have some messed-up character files. Have you been deleting sims, using the occupied lot bin, and/or adding special NPCs to playable families? http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...Hood_Corruption

Sims that were taken don't lose family ties and memories until they are adopted, or at least thats always what I've seen.
