Is there any hack/mod that will reduce the nastiness of sims while on community lots? It seems like anytime my sims visit a lot, two townies will inevitably end up poking/slapping/shoving each other until they're at -100/-100.

I don't particularly care if they hate each other, but I'm tired of every sim on the lot dropping everything and running to them every 7 seconds because they're fighting... again!

Since you don't mind if they hate each other, it sounds to me like you would be more interested in a hack that prevents Sims from being forced to watch fights than necessarily preventing fights altogether, correct? Or am I misunderstanding?

ETA: Squinge made a "No Watching Fights" mod, but I don't know if it's updated/compatible for later EPs. It says it's an alternate version, so there may be a different version elsewhere.

I don't mind if you call me "MSD" or something for short.
Perhaps someday I'll have leisure time back...

That would be a nice last resort. I wouldn't mind having a mod that affects the fighting itself though, just because I really just hate watching it over and over, lol

Not to discourage you from looking for the hack you'd rather have, but as long as your sims aren't reacting to a fight, there's no reason for it to get your attention either. Just focus on what your controllable sims are doing and ignore the fight. In most cases, it's probably even possible to move the fight off-screen.

Lol, just as I was thinking, "You know, that's a very good point..." a townie just went and picked a fight with one of my playables. I'm really just annoyed at how autonomous being a jerk is. I understand that grouchy sims like to pick fights, but it seems like everyone is doing it! The townie that picked a fight this time had 4 nice points. That's not really 'nice' but I don't think it's terribly grouchy, either.

If possible, I'd really just rather quash the behavior in general.

I'd also be interested in a mod like this. I've never found one. I have a "no furious" mod, which helps a bit, but fights still occur.

Only way around it I can think of is to use the SimBlender (or cheats) to bring relationships up between warring sims. It's a cumbersome solution at best, though.

Could you please give me a link to where you found the "no furious" mod? If it helps even the slightest, I'd really want it in my game...

There's also using cheats and hacks to make sure no sims are below 6 in grouchy/nice. I don't allow grouchy sims in my game. For some reason Maxis liked to make it so a lot of the townies would be grouchy and sloppy.
