Hi everybody!

I have a question that has probably already been answered and solved.
I took some time off from playing the Sims after the issues with custom content until there was a fix and it seems like I missed the fix wagon. I've downloaded the TSR Rig Fix file but I'm having an issue getting it to work. Am I just out of luck finding the granny.dll file? Does all of my content just have to be deleted? I'm really frustrated and I just want my game to work. I came here because I don't know where else to ask for help. Please help!

I hear rumours that that granny.dll file actually existed, once upon a time. Perhaps it was hidden in a cave, or behind the sofa, or perhaps it was using a perception filter to make itself look like a budgerigar.

Regardless, I've found that the simplest solution is to use a tool which just works out of the box: http://sims3.the-prof.net/forums/index.php?topic=1298.0

It has been found and draged out of it's hiding place:
Click

I still get the popup about file is needed.. but it works, so maybe it's suppoce do that, i have no clue.

Oh btw, since we're talking about fixing cc, how do i fix that i constantly get that npc's is not going to work, in older saves that have custom rabbitholes, i have run rigfix on all my mods including my custom rabbitholes and other places like DCCache.
Do i need to replace them in game?
Sry to OP if you consider i'm hijacking your thread (or any1 else for that matter) but imo it's related.

Thanks so much for the replies! I'm gonna try to download that granny.dll and hope that it works. I literally have not wanted to play because all my custom sims are messed up with unusable skin, hair and eyes!! >_<

Which fix software do you use? I'm using TSR's rig fix and when I try to fix the content, nothing shows up in the box to be fixed... I'm so confused! lol I just wanna play the game with all my content!

When I try to use this software, I get an error saying I need to install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v4.0.30319

If nothing shows up in the box then there's nothing needed to be fixed, also it can only fix .package, .sims3pack and .dbc-files (the files in DCCache).
Net Framework 4.0 can be downloaded from Windows update.
