I am running a Legacy game and I've come up with three hopeful Heirs and I'm having a really hard time deciding which one I should choose to continue on the family line. So I figured I'd ask for other's opinions and thoughts! Feel free to vote or comment if you like! I'd love to hear from you. ^u^

I haven't really decided on partners for any of them yet! I want to pick and heir first and concentrate on them.

Based on looks alone, I'd go with sim three.

I rather liked the first sim, he is a cutie! But I would go with Sim Three, she looks as though she'd belong as the Matriach of generations!

Three looks very promising...Good luck on your Legacy game!

Don't be someone's...Down-time,spare-time,part-time,or sometime.
If they can't be there for you all the time, then they're not even worth your time!!!

I don't see how anybody can pick an heir based on looks. Surely there are sound story reasons to go with one over another - the one who has always routinely taken on responsibilities, the one who graduates college when the Old Folks are starting to get frail, the one who found True Love in college and whose goals are compatible with maintaining the Home Place.

They all look similar to me, anyway. Pointy ears, golden skin, yadda yadda.

All you can do is the best you can do.
(My most recent book is Sullivan, That Summer. In case you care.)

I have found, when reading legacies that *most* heirs are chosen basically for looks. I suppose it is because legacies are mostly focused on genetics rather than story.

I don't understand it much myself, but then I don't play legacies.

Me neither.
I'd go with the girl, because she's, well, a girl, and I'm sexist that way :P

And I like the way they all look. Based on that criterium alone, couldn't they all be heirs? Make three houses if need be? What do legacy people do with the non-heirs anyway? Are we deciding here who gets to live and who gets to be shoved into the sim bin? That wouldn't be cool at all...

I really love the third option. She is gorgeous, and has this elegant feature about her. Three is of whom I choose

"A Famous Explorer once said: 'The extraordinary is in what we do, not who we are.'"--Lara Croft from Tomb Raider 2013

What are their personalities like? Does one of them stick out as particularly funny? I'd pick based on that. A pretty sim is nice to look at -- and all three of your contenders have a neat look -- but a hilarious sim is a joy to watch.

(Just don't pick the one that can't cook without setting the stove on fire. That can quickly bring things to a screeching halt and turn a spare into an heir )

Based on looks alone, I'd go for sim 1 or 2; I like grey eyes, and the eyebrows of sim 2 are interesting. I would not pick sim 3, even though I like the idea of a female heir, because black hair is too dominant.

I'd pick the first 1, he looks like good heir material, or the second one - I agree with zumppe, black hair is too dominant a trait to start with. I've had a few legacy heirs start off blond and in 2 generations they turn black, but then again it's all up to what colour hair you wish to keep in the bloodline (I just prefer to try to keep the hair colour of the original heir as much as possible in the legacy).

Oh Noes Not Another Blog! - where you can see my awful custom content and horrible attempts at challenges, storytelling and picture taking.
Not much up there right now, this is only the beginning! :D

Looks alone .... two. Three is my second choice.

But Aegagropilon has a point ... what are their personalities? Personally, I'd go with a smart or greedy ... I mean fortune ... Sim. I like 'em a bit scrappy, too. A pushover probably wouldn't make a great Legacy Sim.

Based on looks alone I'd choose sim 2. He seems to have the least-tiny lips. But that's my personal preference :P

I've only played a legacy once before (and only got to a certain point) but I'd just choose the one who's the most fun for you personally to play. I gotta echo the others about the personalities being key. And to be honest, none of the sims are my particular favorites looks-wise... just not my style.

Now that you mentioned it, the girl does have tiny lips, but tiny in the right direction, if that makes any sense I mean to say: they're not thin.
I've seen Sanjay and Priya Ramaswami produce an offspring with such thin lips that the poor thing's teeth were sticking out through them.

Sim 3. The other two have horrible fashion sense, and fashion sense is totally genetic, right?

I pick Sim One because to me he's more attractive than sim two, and sim three is too pretty and elegant which makes her not relatable. I always pick the most attractive guys and most relatable girls :P
It might help to know their aspirations and lifetime wants though. And I also wonder what happens to the ones who don't get picked... I never really read a legacy for long enough to figure that out...
