I have actually slowed down and avoided The Sims 3 because my game gets rendered unplayable from those darn save errors. I found what causes them usually after checking the information. World Adventures. The game has to monitor four worlds, Home, Egypt, France, and China. Well, the save errors are crated from the game unable to find the files for one+ of those worlds. Either try to avoid contact with the glitch world (mine is China) by trying to avoid tourists and vacationing or just reset the whole game (delete the Sims 3 folder in documents), whereas plan B for the latter is to ultimately uninstall WA. ... . You may not want to, but that's what I found. Can Someone test it, I am kind of unsure of what to do...

I did have experienced a lot of that problem before.

I installed Windows 7 64 bit, solved the problem and never get any error 12.

Mine is different, always it seems interaction with china caused it, egypt and france just create lag.

World (*coughChinacoughhack*) Memory Problems are what causes it. I uninstalled WA, don't really have to worry, I don't use CC anymore, don't want Flaming-Death-from-Above Hell, aka, Meteor Hell.

i usually get error 12 save when i have a major lag. but after my trial and error i manage to solve the problem . I alt-tab and go to my document/eletronic art/sims 3/ save folder and delete the (town).bad folder just delete whatever state .bad. then alt tab to the game and i can save again normally but still without me exiting the game i will haf to face lag again whenever i in a place with lots of npc... This work for me everytime. so now i able to save game every weekly instead everyday. I hope it work for you guys. and sincerely apologies to those who still unable to resolve it.
