Hi. I recently installed the base game onto my family's new computer. I was wanting default skins but my mother is all paranoid about there being any cc on the computer. I was wondering if cc could possibly slow down my computer's performance since its pretty fast.

Some will proberly say "i have much cc and it doesn't affect me at all" but generally, yes it can slow down the game but it doesn't affect the computer while not playing the game.

Ok. Thank you for the response. I think she is so paranoid because my laptop had a lot of cc but over time it became slow. I told her it was because of the age of my laptop. I'll see if I can convince her.

The only way CC can slow down your computer is if you have almost no space - e.g. less than 10GB - left on your C: drive. Otherwise, CC can slow your game down, but something else is slowing down your computer in general.
