So the other day i DLed Intensity replacement default eyes.

http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=432541&c=1 These for reference and I downloaded the file and put it in the Mods folder. As usual. But when I go in game to CAS, the new defaults aren't there. Even after I exit the game and delete the caches - they still don't show up. Is there a fix to this? I know I don't have any other default eyes downloaded, all my CC is hair, clothes and then two skins.

Does anyone have an idea what the issue is? I'd really like to get these eyes up and running!

If all your other CC is working, but one particular item isn't, then it's either a conflict or a problem with the CC itself. If you've ruled out the former, contact the creator abut the latter.

I'm having the same issues with several default eyes. I've had to rebuild my game from scratch and am using some files I backed up from my game before it crapped out. I'm now downloading different sets just to see if I can get anything to work. So far, nothing does.

coraltheo have you tried deleting your sims 3 cache files after you put the default eyes in the packages folder? If you have and they're still not working they might be conflicting with another item, use the Sims 3 Dashboard Tool to check your mods folder to see if you do have an item conflicting with the default eyes.
