Hello =] A while ago after I got Showtimes, and played it loads, I started getting very bad freezing a few seconds of play and then it would freeze for a minuet or two. I gave up trying to fix it, nothing seemed to work, and uninstalled all of the games. Then a little while ago I installed them again, this time without installing any mods or CC (I downloaded Sims from the exchange so some CC was in my game without me realising!). It worked fine, I installed Overwatch and it still worked fine. Then I installed Story Progression, freezes galore! I deleted it and the freezes stopped. The annoying thing is is that I would really like the mod in my game, but why is it making it freeze so much? I do have all of the EPs installed, though non of the SPs, and don't have the graphics on high quality and my game is up to date. Is it that my computer just can't keep up with what the mod does? How can I fix it? I like doing legacies so really need the mod xD I am going to upgrade my PC's graphics but for now this is what it is: Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83 GHz Processor NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 8GB of RAM I do have lots of junk on there as I have had it for a while, thinking about wiping it clean, and because I share it with my Fiancée we have other games on there, some of which I don't play. They are most notably (and biggest) Fallout New Vegas with Nexus mod manager (and mods), Team Fortress 2, Legue of Ledgends, Sniper Eliete and Risen 2. Thats lots of big games, I know my PC is good but is it that good? Is this causing a problem too? I have 222 GB free of 931 GB is says. THANKS! |

Make sure you've downloaded the right version of the mod. Beyond that, the best place to ask is at NRaas, since twallan knows how the mod works and might have suggestions for settings changes that would help.

Yeah I have, thanks! I left a thread in the disscussion but no answer yet. Could it be a performance issue, that my PC can't keep up? |

Feeling like a bit of a chat about creation or just... whatever (not necessarily sims)?
