 Not receiving emails from anything

I tried searching but couldn't find it so here it goes : I checked my settings and I'm 100% sure they're set to send me an email whenever I receive a PM or a thread I subscribed to has been updated (it's currenly set to Instant Notification). I tried using another email address to see if maybe they were being rejected or something, but still not working. Other info if needed : My current email address is not the one I used for my first registration in 2004, that one is gone for good. I hope this problem can be fixed cos I really need email notifications. Thanks

Notification emails are not enabled from this site, in order to spare some load on the server. It has so many participants the email load would be overwhelming

Well, they used to be real. (They were functioning at S2C for a while.) Then Delphy started trying to cut down on lag. With all the other stuff to do, I suppose taking those settings out didn't get onto the to-do list. But yes, they are non-functional now. The only time you will get an MTS-related e-mail is for registration, or a forgotten password. (And occasionally even those don't go through. ) I think the settings to allow staff members or regular members to e-mail you is still a real setting, though. |

Ok, got it, I will organize my links for quick access to subscribed threads then, or figure something out to help me keep track. At least now I know it's normal and not an issue. Thanks for the help
