I've got problem with University being uninstalled automatically after I installed NL. And I fixed it by uninstalled them all and installed back again in order. The game worked fine. Later I got OFB. Before the install, I created backups for the neighborhood and moved the downloads and saved sims folder. I didn't forget to clean the .cache files. And just after I finished installing it, and play the game, a message told me that I've uninstalled Nightlife and the downtown was deleted and the families I've created were in the family bin. I quit the game. Uninstalled everything. Then installed them back again. Still, no difference. I tried to put OFB aside, and start to install Seasons. The same problem happened. NL being uninstalled. I tried to re-install, and nothing changed. I think my game can't deal with EPs so I've got IKEA on hand and installed it. I thought it would work fine because it's only adding stuffs. But when I started the game, NL was uninstalled! I'm really confused and don't know what to do. Since months I've been playing with only base game, Uni, and NL. I know it's a severe stupid glitch. And although I've patched the EPs, still ... nothing works.I used win7 32 bit. And I used daemon tools lite. I've read somewhere that win7 isn't compatible with base game, Uni, NL, and OFB. So I have to go back to XP to install them succesfully. But I don't have the XP installation CD anymore. And if I have to buy it, any windows softwares are extremely expensive in my country. Or is it because my NL CD which is messing up with my game? Well, whenever I try to install NL, the last thing it requested is to put the Nightlife CD 1. I mount the CD, but the message won't disappear although I've clicked 'OK'. But the CD mounted well and it's shown in My Computer. But somehow it just feels like the game doesn't recognize it ... but I can play NL together with Uni succesfully. Please help! I will appreciate any help I don't understand English very well so you need to explain clearly. |

The game works fine with Windows 7, you don't need to go back to XP. Use your physical disks for now - there's no point introducing another possible failure point via using images instead of the originals. Have you done a clean uninstall? Game Help:Uninstallwiki - it sounds like things aren't being installed properly, and the usual cause of this is that they were uninstalled improperly in the past. |

Also, avoid the launcher. It's known for uninstalling EPs arbitrarily. http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...assing_Launcher |

Ugh, I've tried to uninstall everything. Then installed them back again. I also bypassed the IKEA launcher. Then from base game to IKEA, everything works fine in game but Nightlife doesn't ... :/ weird. Does my NL CD contains glitch? My computer recognizes it perfectly, but the game won't. The Downtown button isn't clickable. |

I finally can play them all together! Thanks to you guys! All I did was uninstall all of the EPs and SP, installed them back from Uni. Then mounting both NL CDs in a separated device in daemon tools. It didn't keep on asking the first CD so I went ahead to install OFB and IKEA. And it works! All those four are awesome! Thanks a bunch!

Do you like to roleplay?

I know it's a severe stupid glitch. And although I've patched the EPs, still ... nothing works.
