Oh I forgot all about the shop at home coat rack! Gosh I couldn't be without that. I wish it had an option for challenge families to buy clothes.
Also Squinges wear any maternity and breast feeding hacks.

I don't think the blender clashes with anything. I don't know about with insim as I don't have that, although I believe the blender has many of the same functions. Recently a plug in to limit skills was added to it.

I would really like to use the homework placment but that seems to clash with something else I have. I had giant spikes come from the house and the sims hands came off after I tried it.

Is there a mod that gets rid of the Freetime hobby reminder spam

Like when that box appears at the corner that says " Blah blah is losing interest in this hobby!!"

There's a No Hobby Spam hack at MATY (moreawesomethanyou).

Oooh. My gigantic hacks folder makes this oh-so-difficult for me!

But I think the most important ones for me are:

-ACR . The game is pretty boring without it since I prefer when my sims do all their lovey-dovey stuff autonomously based on chemistry and all and not just because I told them "go kiss so-and-so, he is hot." And it causes so much amusing drama...
-Dizzy's leftover hack and BO's Food Dish Autonomy. It is wonderful since they don't have to cook a meal when there are plenty of leftovers in the fridge, and can do it by themselves instead of me having to micromanage it.(Can you tell I am lazy?)
-Squinge’s Mega College Pack. Uni is way more fun if I can do it in the base hood, I think. This way some of the YA can live with the rest of their family while still attending uni.
- Christianlov's Gussy Up plugin and Pescado's Clothing Tool, which, together, allow me to change the appearance of any fashion victim townie that happens to walk by easily. Laziness, yay!
-The Insimenator, and the Sim Blender, even if they are a bit redundant. And a hack that adds the option to make a sim selectable by clicking on the pie menu.
- Crammyboy's Community Time, and a mod that allows sims to throw parties in community lots. Not sure who made it. But I love it, yes, I do~
- Chris Hatch's Visit Other Sims. I haven't using it very often lately, but I do enjoy having the feature.
- That one that enables the "watch kids" interaction for any lot, not only apartments. This way I create some sims who make a living by babysitting, with the help of Pescado's Money Order

And, last but not least, loads of fixes from MATY, Simbology, and many, many other sites, that I am not sure if they'd count since they are just fixes, and don't really add much new features or functionality. There are many other hacks that I love and adore and don't really like being without, but the ones I listed above are ab-so-lu-te-ly necessary for me I couldn't even think about playing the game without them, because they are very essential for my playstyle.

Please excuse my crappy english :(

OMG...I love your list, however I was wondering about the "throwing parties on community lots" mod...I can't seem to find it through google. =[

labellavienna, the link Liv posted isn't compatible with Pets or Seasons, and probably not AL, either. In your profile, I could see you have AL, so I uploaded the version updated for AL of this mod.

http://www.mediafire.com/?qcrr9u3ygh20ty5

Using a mod that wasn't updated would probably cause issues. I have all EPs up to MG, and haven't had any conflicts or problems with this version. Not sure where I got it from, though.

...and I really need to go to bed now.

Please excuse my crappy english :(

Has anyone tried Ancient Highway's college mods? Like College Isn't Free? I'm reading up on Squinge's Mega College hack and thinking about trying Uni for base hood, and it mentions Highway's collection of college mods, but his site is dead and google isn't showing any details of his hacks. I'm curious to what they are and what they do, if anyone has tried them. I'm mainly curious on the College Isn't Free thing, or a hack similar for tuitions.

And can anymore explain in more detail how 'Visiting Other Sims' hack works? Like, when you visit another lot, is the family doing their own things, being at school/work during the times? Do they save their memories and relationships from the visit? Can you use everything in their house, like the fridge (like when you visit apartment neighbors)?

My only advice is just to be very very careful when downloading hacks...I am currently having conflict issues where I can't seem to "view" decorative objects and paintings...this really sucks seeing as how I've recently built a museum and my sims can't even use it.

Just make sure to test everything.

Right now I'm using inteen, not really for teen pregnancies, but mainly to allow college students to become pregnant by woohoo or alien abduction - I want to do some campus-family scenarios. Also I have the nobabyharassment and antibabylecture, among other things, and of course ACR. I want some of my sims, mainly romance sims, to not be jealous of others doing the things which they themselves had been doing. I think that, if you're gonna be messing around with everyone you know, then you shouldn't be pissed off by seeing them do the same thing. It's only logical.

So true - one of the funniest moments I had in my game was Mercer Vaughan throwing an absolute tantrum in the local clothes shop when he realised it was Pheoebe Vaughan in there diddling one of the (female) townies. I laughed for a good 10 minutes. Sauce for the gander.

Polgannon Project Seriously, I'm still working on it.

True, but I think there'd be quite a few people who wouldn't go bunny-boiler on their lovers, especially if they're out boffing everything that moves.

I my experience, this is pretty rare. Most people are 'that's mine and that's mine and so is that. MINE - not yours.'

Wow. I figured that ended when they stopped being toddlers. Dunno, but I was raised to have more sense and somewhat more responsibility than most people. And when my boyfriend started macking on this other girl who also had a boyfriend, I was even offering to have a polyamorous relationship. What really pissed me off was the neglect more than the affair. If he had simply wanted us to all share each other equally, it would've been jolly good.

ACR at the very least allows for polyamorous relationships... and no, before anyone asks, it ain't about being in love with parrots XD

(Not trying to go off topic here).

If your bf is messing around with another girl without your acknowledgement...that is just pure and utter disrespect.

From one female to another...run...run far and away!

Trying to go back on topic a little ...

I use the no-jealousy feature on the Insim most of the time. But sometimes, I turn it off if I want to be sadistic.

And sometimes, I like when Sims don't get mad at all ... they just get even (bwa-ha-ha). There are some hacks for that too, I believe. If not, you can always lure the errant Sim to the cowplant!

Thanks to ALL free-site creators, admins and mods.

A ton. I won't mention the ones that got a lot of repeats already. The romance mod from MATY. Cyjon's mod that kids stay home sick without losing a grade and the loan jar. Cristianlov's easy computer. A mod that stops townies from losing their memories when they become part of a family, The college clock to speed up or slow down a semester. A mod that lets you invite as many people as you want to a party, fight anyone anytime, have a baby/adopt wants fix, the phone book fix that lets Sims call service sims that they know, Cruise in the car as long as you want, a mod that lets kids get bottles from the fridge.

That's the first I've heard of that mod. It always bugged me that sick kids had to go to school. Going to look for that now.
