When a Sim moves into lets say... an apartment with 4 areas per household. Will my Sims stay in there area and go to sleep there? I am worried that they will try to sleep in another apartment... because with my Sim family (of 4) sometimes they try to sleep in different rooms. Like... mom will sleep in one of the kids rooms and the kid will sleep in the parents room =.=. So... do my Sims know not to go into other apartments that are not theirs?

I've never had a sim sleep in another apartment.

There is the sleep clock that sets bed time and wake time and makes sims use the right bed. I've not used it personally but you could and report back on how it worked out if you like. http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/s...opic,142.0.html

In my experience, sims you are playing can't just waltz into other people's apartments and sleep and cook and so on unless they knock on the door and are allowed in. But if you don't lock your door, you may find all your neighbours popping in to use your shower and watch your TV.

They don't break in to go to sleep, no. There is a glitch where they fall asleep in the communal area (I'm getting that for the first time and need to look up the fix for it), but not in the active sim's apartment.

Each apartment counts as a different residential lot. Visiting sims can't do anything in the apartment that they can't do in a regular residence. The dorm coding is different and different behaviors are available to dormies than to apartment visitors.

All you can do is the best you can do.
(My most recent book is Sullivan, That Summer. In case you care.)
