No, you won't be able to play TS3 on that. The CPU is good, the RAM is ok, but you don't have a graphics card, which means that if you try to play TS3 on that machine, you will do permanent damage to the computer. I'm pretty sure that Macs can't be upgraded due to proprietary technology, but I could be wrong. If I am, someone else who is more knowledgeable about Macs will correct me. I believe you'll have to go for a more powerful computer, though. If you're on a budget, I cannot stress enough that you will pay well over the odds to get a Mac you can play Sims 3 on. It will be far cheaper to buy a desktop to use with Windows or Linux, or even a laptop. |

No, your graphics are also not sufficient for TS3. |

I also have the 13" new macbook pro. And i installed all the sims 3 games, and they run fine on high graphics I have the same hd 3000 card. If it breaks my graphics card ( it has not done so yet) i do have an insurance. But so far so good No trouble.

Well, you're lucky, then, and I hope you enjoy the game. However, when I'm spending €1200 on something, I prefer not to rely on luck to keep it working.
