I think I see why sales of this game didn't take off... It takes SO long for a Sim to walk somewhere, even when you use the speed up process, it takes a chunk out of your time. There's not really a way to tell WHAT supplies you need without going back and forth to the shop and a place to cook or whatever your wanting supplies for. I finally DID get ONE Platinum achievement on the King's Vacation quest (early quest) but when I started the next one, that had me using a Blacksmith and the preacher, going back and forth between two sims was really difficult. There was always something someone didn't get done. Are there any ways to fix this? |

Not really. The game awards procrastination, as long as your active sim is in a good mood. There's a lot of ways the game could have been better, and simply not having the quest-based gameplay would have probably attracted more people. That's the real problem: It's Sim in look and name only. |

Haha, okay. Well, I'm so anal retentive about stuff, being OCD that I'll probably stick it out a while longer before giving up on it, just so see how far I can get! LOL |

I agree about the recipes and getting supplies for them, but the rest of your problem is part of the challenge. It gets real easy to do after you've played a while, and you'll have loads of time left. I always found the merchant the hardest to do if there were 2 sims on a quest. If you want platinum, and who doesn't, then do one quest objective every one or 2 sim days till the bar hits platinum then either carry on that way, if you're still finding it hard or fire your way through the rest of the quest if you want it done quickly. It's almost impossible to not get plat on every quest once you get used to how it all works. For travelling you can always cheat with 'testing cheats enabled' in, then shift-left click the ground where you want to be and select 'teleport me here'. Just make sure your quest bar is on platinum incase you finish too quickly though. |

Where I was messing up was the daily timed stuff, and I learned that you don't fast forward time unless both sims are done with their two daily objectives. I just did one with my knight and my healer. I'm actually enjoying the game though

If it helps, you normally get a good amount of hours on the dailies, so you can ignore everything else to do those as soon as they pop up, and once you direct your first sim to do their first daily leave them to it and switch to the 2nd one to start one of there's. I'm glad you're enjoying the game
