Hi there, I'm looking for empty versions of the neighbourhoods that ship with the game or are through the store [Riverview/Lunar Lakes/etc.]
Some of these places are really beautiful, but I just need to be able to design my own towns! I've seen little of these around, I'm not sure what compatibility they have or if they work anymore, but in an ideal world [heh!] I'd like something with just the rabbit holes and community lots, but residential homes and sims gone, to fill up with my own creations - I want to easily add families, re-arange the town, things that that. With a fully-created town I feel I need to have everything just how it is! Total Creativity mood-kill. [LOL]

Thanks in advance, I know there will be some somewhere.
Happy simming!

We have several - I think Sunset Valley, Riverview, Bridgeport and Appaloosa - on MTS. Some are totally empty, while some still have community lots. The worlds section in Downloads is quite small, so you can find them with a couple of minutes of browsing through pages.

The way most of thoose work is that, they are just save games you place in save-folder, so you can do that easy your self, just load the town you want empty and delete everything you don't want, then save it.
So this is a time thing only, next time you wanto recreate a town just load the emtied one.

I usually just start a new game with the town I want, use Awesome mod to "destroyallhumans", then start bulldozing. Pretty quick and painless.

@Whiterider, I previously found the two which link to my EPs: http://my.modthesims.info/download.php?t=408016 and http://my.modthesims.info/download.php?t=344655 but for the latter, Flabaliki said that his download was "Obsolete" for some reason. His apparent reason is that "everyone can now just add more lots to their neighborhood anyways, and can just get the emptied versions from CaW." Does that sound about right? Thanks for your help.

@cameranutz2, I've not heard of that technique, does it work well? [IE: Let me start afresh without many townies so I can slowly populate on my own?]

I'm still looking for the downloadable Neighbourhoods, does anyone have links for those emptied?

MasterController have a similar option called "Total Anihilation" and yes this and Awesomemods option works well it makes your town totally empty of sims.
Though unlike AM you have to play the town to be able to use it, in AM you can type it in cheatbar in edit town mode if i remember right.

@Belzader That's really helpful, thanks! So, what, I load up the full 'hood, type in the cheat [I am currently using AM], save, backup the save and I'm good to go clearing out the town? That really would be an ideal situation
