Hi guys and girls, I've been working on a mesh and I've run into a problem... Like the title states my what is supposed to be necklace is floating above the sims head instead of resting on the sim. I've run into this problem before with another mesh, but I can't remember for the life of me what I did to fix it The mesh looks fine in Milkshape and the preview window for SimPE, but as soon as I open it in Bodyshop... Up it goes Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. ![]() |

Check the bone assignments. That's the only thing I can think of, especially if it looks fine in MilkShape. The bones probably need to be set to "clavicle" or something like that; if they're set to something like "head", you might get some weird effects. |

Thank you Fakepeeps7, I do have it set to head.. so I'll try the clavicle instead. Thanks again. |

I tried what you said Fakepeeps7 and the mesh is still flying high -_- I really wish I knew what the issue was... |

Did you start with a adult(if it is for adult) skeleton in Milkshape? I remember teen or kid ones would stretch a adult body to that size. Spine 2 or neck is the joint you need. |

Bloom, do you mean importing the Adult body before editing the mesh? If so, then yes I did. I also assigned the bones to neck first and then to spine 2 after and It still didn't work. I have a feeling that I may have to start over Edit: Also, this mesh is meant to be a rosary, but the main chain is the only thing showing up. Not the single chain or the cross parts. Any idea why ? |

Does your recolour package have provisions for the extra mesh parts? If not, they won't show up. |

Wat did you clone as base, make sure you clone a basegame accesoire(not the round glasses!) If you need extra meshgroups, read this tut i wrote a few years back: http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,51352.0.html |

Sorry for the late reply, but I'm still unable to get this mesh to show up correctly... I've tried cloning another pair of glasses as my base, creating new meshgroups and I'm still in square 1. |

The skeleton is messed up. Im pretty convinced i see a child one or a adult scaled out of proportions. I imported a female adult mesh and then the necklace. should be fixed now. |
