I have Windows 7. A dowloaded copy of Sims Double Deluxe, University from a CD, Downloaded Bon Voyage and Seasons, and the Fun with Pets expansion pack. Some of the downloads are from Origin and some are from an online download store called Gamersgate. I checked memories with the batbox and all the ones related to Skip Broke were corrupted.

The hoodchecker report is spoilered.


I don't know who any of these Sims who no longer exist are and the gameplay is currently fine so I'm not sure what to do next. I don't believe I've done anything known to cause corruption. Is there a way for me to figure out what the problems likely are so that if or when the time comes to package and move the Sims to a cleaned neighborhood I can prevent this from happening again?

What prompted you to run the hoodchecker test?

After reading another thread on this subject and learning that no one knows why these things happen, I'd like to delete my thread, but the board won't allow me to.

Skip Broke comes borked , courtesy of EA. No help needed. There are two Skip Brokes , different eye colors, missing memories, face of body shop mannequin and more EA follies involved.

In fact, most of the shipped neighborhoods have some amount of corruption. That's one reason why people download and install clean neighborhood templates, such as these:

I run it every so often to try and catch and fix any issues that might destroy the neighborhood early on.I got concerned because the batbox and hoodchecker didn't detect those problems the last time I ran it a few months ago. Sorry, somehow I didn't notice that you even posted here before I posted asking that this be closed, and I forgot about this thread. Thanks to all who answered.
