The banana tree... #1 |
| Kayleena |
As of right now, I cannot grow a banana tree. Whether I have my sim buy it from the grocery store, or place it from buy debug. Placing it from buy bebug gives me the soil, but my sims cannot interact with it, and it's gone when I load the game after saving and quitting. The actual banana, my sims can't even eat directly from their inventory. I'm not sure if they can cook with it if it's in the fridge since your sim can purchase the meal in order to make it. =/ So, am I missing something? Is this a common bug with Showtime? I've got all EPs and SPs and am sitting on 1.33. |

Disappearing plants, historically, has always been a CC problem. Have you gone through the Game Help:Sims 3 Game Problemwiki FAQ? |

I have not thought of doing that. I was completely blind to the fact that it could be CC. I do have some mods, such as Dolphin's gardening gnome, and one that makes the plasma and carrot plants show up in buy debug. I'll remove those first and test the game. But all my other plants are perfectly fine. It's just the banana tree. Oh, I also have a mod that gives me the meat, egg, and cheese plants as well. If removing those mods doesn't work, then I'll go through the FAQ until I get it fixed.

No matter what the problem is, your first step should always be the Game Problem FAQ. |
