EDIT: UNIVERSITY LIFE WORKS! Now to see if BoB works...

EDIT 2: BoB works as well yay! Thanks Mootilda.

The main problem:
The un-install program for the University Life collection wouldn't work, so I just followed the MTS custom uninstall instructions (deleting the registry, deleting the hard drive files, etc). Then I tried re-installing the University Life collection, but it came up with the error message: "All packs are already installed." As much as I tried to bypass this error message, nothing worked! All the packs were uninstalled, so I don't see why it would tell me that.
Afterwards, I decided to just do a custom installation of the University Life Collection (using the EA suggested way), but still the installer told me that I already had the expansions installed, AND when I tried just launching the game, it told me that "packs were not installed correctly; please reinstall."

It also happened with my Best of Business when I tried to install it.

I uninstalled all my games including the original base game (mine is Sims 2 Double Deluxe), but still the same thing. I deleted the registry and followed the instructions on the Uninstall guide, please do not link me to it.
I don't know what to do at this point. Can someone tell me?

Also, I have no idea if you even need this, but system specs:

There's only one possible explanation: you've missed one or more of the registry entries. I know that you don't want a link to the uninstall FAQ, but perhaps you should look again to make sure that you deleted every single key for those collection packs. Perhaps you missed the info about the individual EPs and SPs included in the collection?

It's very likely it could be human error on my part. Thank you! I searched through the registry for "sims" and deleted what I found that was related to The Sims 2. Since then, I've started installing Double Deluxe and it's in progress (which is always successful). So when I get to University Life, I'll edit and update
