I bought University and was excited today.I deleted everything in the Downloads folder and made backup. I got an error, even though I had the updates. (I even checked.) I got really fustrated, so I uninstalled The Sims 2. :disagree: Now I have a problem installing that! I get an error stating
Quote:
A problem has occured when trying to transfer the file 'TSData\Res\Sims3D\Sims08.package' from the media.
Quote:
Do you want to retry to copy the file,or cancel the installation.

When I retry it brings the percent by 1% and then after about 3 minutes gives me the same error again! I've tried 10 times. Please help. :weep:

RancidKitty sorry that nobody replied to you before. This error usually means that the actual disk is faulty/has been damaged in some way. There are quite a LOT of people having this problem with the EP release disks =/

Oh no problem. ^_^; Well, does this mean I have to clean the disk or get a new one? When I previously installed TS2 I had no problems. I hope I didn't mess up my computer or something. :blah: I'll clean it and try again. =D Thank you!

[Edit] Just to poke fun, I posted at the same time but this was A.M. lol Weird.
