Hasn't anyone made a hack to just automatically change all your objects to university compatible? I want University but, i'm afraid to get it because I have so many downloads from so many places. It'll be impossible to redownload them all. :argh:

this is a very complex game, and there are a lot of artifical complications because of the way maxis decided to change the system. changes we aren't even begining to understand.

on top of that, maxis isn't always forthcomming with the "correct" way to do something. it's not profitable for them to tell everyone how to make objects, becuase no one would buy the EPs. why would you drop another $30 for a load of objects that probably already exist in some form as a free download? (this is probably also why university has a lot of new play modes, but not a whole lot of objects, it's easier to sell.)

There is no way around it. You have to sort through your download file.
