Looking for a leather tutorial/tips #1 |
| Fallon-Fly |
I want to make a leather jacket for some kind of a personal challenge, but I don't know how to make the clothes look like leather. I've searched the internet and this side for a tutorial on how to do it. So if you know one, could you point me there or give me some tips? Thanks ~Fly~ Ps: Feel free to yell at me, if it's right in front of me and I just didn't see it. |

Fallon-fly, unfortunately this is where skinning ends and artistry begins. You need to practice your dodge and burn in your image editing software to see how to get the softly reflective look of leather. You could go easy and take an image from the internet, and photoskin by copying and pasting, but I think that really, the most interesting and rewarding thing to do it to put those photos into a smaller file in photoshop and display it alongside the texture file, and see how close you can get. |
