Random Files appearing in SimsLauncher?
When I opened up the Sims Launcher it said I had installed a lot of custom content; hair, clothing, roof decorations, etc, but most of it I've never seen before. Is it stuff that gets comes when you install a new Expansion? Or maybe the stuff that gets comes when you install a new Neighbourhood?

A lot of it looks like stuff I'd never use, so is there any harm uninstalling it to make the game run faster?

It is stuff that comes with new neighborhoods. And most if not all of it is used by the neighborhood and the sims in it, so it would cause problems if you uninstall it – if it's even possible. I tried to uninstall some such items a while back, but the launcher wouldn't allow it since they were part of a bundle.
