All of a sudden when I went to change cloths nothing happens. I don't get the little star nothing its like clicking on the grass. I have tried all of the dressers. I did delete the security hack because none of my sims would go thru doors. Any help would be appriciated

This sounds like the same issue...a bad download. You are going to need to sort through your custom downloads again to find the issue. Also check daysies hack thread:
