Backstory: Sims are always predicting the end of the world. They're never right. Still your sims couldn't help but take safety in their bomp shelter. Your sims spend weeks there until one day they decide to enter the surface. It turns out this was the one time Sims were right.

Getting Started:

Create a sim

Start off with one Young Adult female and Young Adult male sim. Do not give them any sort of relationship or kids!
[Alternatively if you have same sex mods you can have an lgbt couple instead.]
Building

It's time to build your "bomb shelter".

Things you'll need:

A basement
A way to get into the basement
1 refridgerator
4 counters
1 sink
1 stove
1 bookshelf
1 all in one bathroom
2 beds

Stage 1: The bomb shelter

Your sims have heard on the news that it could very well be the end of the world. As a precaution they went into their bomb shelter and lived in there, not knowing that it is the end of the world.

Step 1: Build a basement
This will serve as your bomb shelter.
Must contain:
1 refridgerator
4 counters
1 sink
1 stove
1 bookshelf
1 all in one bathroom
2 beds

Once you build it, lock your sims inside and take away the stairs.


Rules:

Stage 1: The bomb shelter

1. Your sims are too afraid to leave the bomb shelter. If you haven't done it already after building your basement aka your bomb shelter, lock your sims inside and take away the stairs.
2. No electronic devices. They no longer work after the end of the world.
This includes: Televisions, any into the future technology with the exception of the future computer, and radios.
3. No cell phone use allowed. Cell phones stopped working when the world ended. Put the phone on silent.
4. You may use the into the future computer ONLY if you have the nraas register mod to get rid of any npcs you don't want in the world. If you don't have that mod then you may not use it.
5. In order to let firemen in you'll need to build a small room above the basement with a ladder to allow firemen to get in. Lock the door of the room you just built and make it to where your sims can't use it.
6. No mood cheats. If your sims are tired then you have to make them sleep.
7. No traveling to the future! Timetravel is extremely forbidden. Sell the portal.
8. You must eat burnt food. As gross as it may be, food is scarce. You really can't afford to throw away food, even if it's burnt.

How to unlock the door so your sims can leave the bomb shelter:

Your sims need either:
Handiness level 3 alone
Logic level 3 alone
Or you can have one sim study both.
It doesn't matter so long as you reach level three in both of those skills.
Once you reach level 3 of those skils your sims may leave for the surface for the first time.

Stage 2: The surface

Turns out they were right when they said it was the end of the world. Who knew?

1. Your sims only want to use the bomb shelter during some of the harsher weather [Ie Rain, Hail, Snow, The heat.] You may only use it if it's raining, snowing, hailing, or hot. Otherwise your sims must sleep outside next to the firepit.
2. Your refridgerator is broken. Replace it with a mini fridge.
3. You may only use the minifridge when you're allowed to use the bombsheleter. Otherwise you have to fish.
4. You are not allowed to use the into the future computer. At this point you should already have set up register. Keep it away from your sims.
5. Timetravel is still forbidden no traveling to the future.
6. No mood cheats. If your sims are tired then you have to make them sleep.
7. You may throw away burnt food.

Stage 3: Romance is the name of the game
Alright enough beating around the bush it's time to repopulate the world.
1. You may only use the bomb shelter for food and making babies.

Your goal is to have at least one child in five generations.

Stage 4: End of the challenge
At this point you should have gone through five generations. The game is yours to play how you wish.

Are you allowed to have a garden, I've got the indoor garden item, that allows e to have a garden inside. Also i have the chicken coop, canning station and a few other things.
