I suffered from family not loading after I had installed Sims2 University, it turned out I had some bad corrupt files which prevented my EP from loading familys.

So don't give up by uninstall everything, just read my link above and maybe the answer is in there.....Goodluck.

Leisawessa - Please try to limit where you post your questions. It is hard to follow you if you ask in multiple threads. Here is the answer that I posted to another thread of yours:

This requires a hack to remove the talk/thought bubbles. Inge has one on her site: http://www.simlogical.com Click on Sims 2, then Global Patches. Look for one called "no balloons patch."
