This works with any other door in my game:

Only the apartment door requires one square more in front of it or sims will just stand in front of it and complain.

I know I've come across something like this for other doors. I can't find it anymore and it must be obsolete at this point anyway, because it works just fine for me without. I remember it was part of some other post for a different download, which is probably why google won't find me it. If someone knows where that is, it would be helpful too, because I can have a look at how it works.

(Please don't say to put one more square of foundation. I know there's always that one Captain Obvious lol...)
