:howdy: Hi need help badly, my problem is : I reinstall the The Sims 2 game & I find out that the download folder in the EA folder is missing. Before I use to see the the download folder in the EA folder now no more. Any advice for me.

You have to create the download folder. Unless you moved it somewhere else before you reinstalled, I think your downloads are gone, but I may be mistaken. The game doesn't come with a Download folder.

For future reference, if you ever need to reinstall, move your Downloads folder somwhere else (say, youre desktop) so it doesn't get overwritten. I believe that when you reinstalled your game, it overwrote all of your other Sims files, including the Download folder. Sorry. :fight:

Or you could try looking for the Download folder on your PC, but I doubt you'll find it.

Hi denimjo, thanks for your quick reply. If my download folder are gone. How to do? I have create a new download folder but the clothings does not show up in the game.

WHen you install university, unless you have moved your previous downloads out of the sims 2 folder, they will be gone with the overwrite...... a downlaods folder is created the first time you use bodyshop i beleve.... if you want to make one without using body shop just open your sims 2 folder and left click and hit "new folder" and name it Downloads.

Have you replaced all of the clothing back into your new folder, rainbow_ccy? You'll need to do that before they'll show up again. And make sure they're not in folders within your Downloads folder, else they won't show up.
