While decorating my kitchens lately when I select an Epicurious Sleek Cuisine counter and counter top and place it down, it will automatically default to Reflex's Marcela red/gray counter. Well I like that counter a lot but I don't want it for every kitchen and I do have several other counters in this category to pick from. This is not a new set for me, I have had it a while. I thought perhaps I had a duplicate guid some where. But either I am not running SimPE right to find the duplicate or the Cleanpack installer, because I have not been able to find it. So I decided to just delete the set. Deleting the set did not solve my problem. A new counter took its place as the default counter. This problem only occurs with the custom counters and it only occurs with the Epicurious Sleek Cuisine counters. I have not had a problem with any others. If I delete all of the custom counters in this section from my downloads, what will happen to the houses that I have decorated? Will they automatically default to Maxis counters or will the lots crash when I try to enter them? Is a duplicate guid really my problem? Are the counters my only problem? Can someone give me simple instructions on how to find the duplicate using SimPE ie (which tab am I suppose to be looking at) ? I am using version 31. I am going to check for program updates right now. My game is not crashing but this counter problem is getting annoying and I don't want it to become a bigger problem. Thanks :werd:

Usually if you delete a object from downloads whatever is in houses go back to the maxis default. That is how it has happened to me. Sorry I am no help with the other questions. Likely though something is conflicting and when you find it and remove it will go back to having offerings of many counters By the way not sure if this will help but someone else posted this issue on another forum and they removed their downloads put them back in and it went back to normal and all was showing again :werd:

I know it does not sound like a technical fix but hey it worked for them so may be worth a try??
