This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Seasons
Default My downloaded things aren´t working :(
I put them in the sims2 downloads folder, and I have the program with a picture of the books. I downloaded 2 hacks, and only one of them is working. then I downloaded hair and bodycolors a and clothes, and stuff like that, but none of that works. What could be wrong?

fisklingur:

try looking at the "extracting .zip and .rar files" tutorials here: http://forums.modthesims2.com/forumdisplay.php?f=239

"unzip" and "unrar" are when you open a download so you can put it in your game. You have to open them before you can use them.

"in-game" just means "while you are playing your game."

Good luck :-)

I Unzip/unrared them, but some of them still don´t work, hair, for an example sometimes shows up as another hair, that is maxis created, or just as nothing, just a hole in the head 8| :argh:

This explains a mesh better than I can, I think. Most of the sites(I said most now) either have the mesh for download or give the site it is on. Unless they are recolors of something already in the game, it will need a mesh also. Just read the information listed when you download. You will get the hang of downloading and over stuff your game like a lot of us do.
