Since I installed University, anything I place in the downloads folder will not show up in the game, apart from some stuff that was already there like the walls I made but not the objects I made.

Also i noticed when I was reading the sticky-University Known Bugs that the storytelling folder was broken up into seperate folders but mine is not. So is it that University didn't install properly and will I have to uninstall and install it again?

All the stuff is University ready so thats not the problem!

Please Help. Cheers Ears. :D

Do you extract the downloads with Alzip or Winrar?

Did you go into game options and check show custom content? This sometimes gets reset.

There is a storytelling folder in the sims 2 folder, but your pictures will be in the one inside the neighborhood folder.

Sadly thats not the problem. I noticed though that the maxis objects I installed after installing University are there. Meaning that sims2pack installed stuff is working but plain .package files are not.........Anybody any suggestions. Could it be to do with extracting everthing at the one go? Cheers

I use win-rar and download to folders on my desktop, then extract all at once and have no problems with anything. So I can't see this causing the problem. Might run Clean Installer and see if maybe you have duplicate files that may be causing them not to show.

Thanks its o.k. I found out that it doesn't work if I directly extract them to the downloads folder but if I extract them to the desktop then move them there it works. Thankyou everybody for all your help. Cheers
