I have had sims2 for about a week and there's been nothing wrong untill yesterday after having the game on for about 3hours it slowed down and became unplayable. I can access the neighbourhood, create lots and play with other familys except the one i created which now is completey stuck! please help someone! i have custom skins, objects and careers(though not using any) installed but it was working fine with them...

what sort of 'stuck'?

I had a problem where all my sims in one house froze, I could move camera angles and everything but the sims weren't moving. Time was ticking away too. The only solution I found for that was to evict them.

Have you installed the patch that Maxis released? It might fix the problems.

i have installed patch...

the family is frozen(or moving incredibly slowly), i can't move camera, time isn't ticking. i can access the build menus it goes back to normal( i can move camera etc) but then freezes again when i go back to live mode...
