I love it! I wish we could get it to smoke. I can't do effects right now. You might want to study the resurrection machine and how the smoke works with that. This is something I'd like to hack, if I ever get the time. It's beautiful :D

I claim no credit for the animation

that came with the object I cloned it from, animation scares me

Killerbee,
it doesn't do anything

it just sits there, being pretty
like most decorative objects, your sims can 'view' it

I'll probably do something with it, but I can't guarantee I can get any effects to happen. I can get a sim to walk to it and do an animation with a sound, but as far as making smoke or something really kewl, probably not. The effects operands need alot of studying right now. But I know what I'd like to do with this. I'll see what I can do. I might give this one extra time, so I can do more with it :D

I don't pretend to know anything about object making and all involved, but what if you cloned it from the resurrection machine?

Carrigon, you can always use the animations from the podium and replace the podium with the cauldron, and then make it smoke and bubble a bit better, and then at the end of all that, all the skills and interests and personality things are A) reversed, B) put to max, C) Put to minimum (One tic for every catagory), or put at all random. You can also use the "clean up" option and use the trash and such laying around on the lot as cauldron ingredients, like from Makin' Magic.

I like this object alot. Obviously.

Looks great, Lethe-if Carrigon's impressed, I know it must be good. Now, if somebody could make a pentangle floor as good as the one that Obsidian at SimWitch had for TS1, we'd really be in business!

I'm working on it. I've already set it up so a sim will walk to it and it will play the ghost sound, like when ghosts haunt your house. I have the sim doing a small dance move, but I might change it. I'm having trouble getting other animations to work with this. It seems that if an animation just has a- instead of a2a, the thing won't work. So those podium animations are out for now. That's why I went with a dance move. It also won't play fx sounds, just more of a music type effect. It's very picky. Expect me to release something toward the end of the week, if not sooner. I need to put spells into it.

OOOOOO, looks fantastic. You should make it so people can sturr it around. and put stuff in it. You could be able to make potions, like from the medicine machine (the simsanto inc. biotech station). that would be awsome. yay for my bad ideas :P
