I can't access to downloads forum so I'm asking this questions here... 1-I'm not in my house now and can only look at my sister's computer without EP installed.I looked at "My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2" folder.I found various types of folders like Collections etc. but couldn't find the Downloads folder.I thought that(if the folder doesn't exist on my computer)I can manually create the folder. Will it work?? 2-On MTS2 forums I saw that in downloads folder there are sub-folders.Are there sub-folders?If not,am I going to put them all in downloads folder??I'm talking about hacks, objects, clothes etc. I repeat,I can't access to Downloads forum it says that a slightly problem in database. If there's somethin' about those things there, please apologise me and give the post's link... I'd be glad for every answer.. |

Hi there! 1. A Downloads folder will get created if you install a .sims2pack file or launch Body Shop. You can create a blank one, too. 2. Yes, you can put your custom content in subfolders except Body Shop items like clothes, make up, hair, etc. You can put those in SavedSims folder. It has been already reported that some members are getting that message. I am not getting that message, however. We'll take a look at it. |

1-So I can create manually a folder.. 2-Do I have to put them in sub-folders or just send them to downloads without any sub-folders?? |

You don't have to put them in subfolders if you don't want to. You can, if you want to start organizing them, in case you run into any problems later on. | |

Read this guide to the Downloads folder: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=46633 If you download matching things, they are not collections, but sets. So don't get confused there. Collections are just ways of "sorting" in-game objects. |
