I have a huge problem with my sim's pregnancy. Every time, when the baby appears, there is no window with "It's a boy/girl! What's his name?' option. So that it is just called boy/girl. What is more, all modes except life mode are disabled, including "go to neighborhod" or "exit" . In fact, after the baby's birth, there is nothing i can do, I can't even save my game.
I've tried everything to fix this, including reinstall of the game and deleting all downloaded folders. Has any of you any idea, what's going on and what should I do?
Ps. sorry for my English, I hope you will understand what my problem is

I know theres a fix for the bad birth bug by JM Pescado. If your problem is a bug then that hack will fix this. I had a problem where my sim couldn't have the baby. Every time she went into labor the game crashed. I found out it was a corrupted skin. I had to get rid of her.

Thanks, but have you got any idea where can I find Pescado's fix? I'm looking for help everywhere and i haven't seen anything like this.
I'm afraid I will have to kill my sim again.... but I still hope there's another solution of this problem...

I have had this happen two or three times. I quickly discovered that the problem you described happened only in specific houses (the sim gave birth fine when moved to a different house). Very likely the game file (your house) has gotten slightly corrupted. Usually birth problems are all that is going on. Try moving your sim into a different house and see if they have any problem having a baby -usually they dont. If this is the case, about the only option you have is to delete the house and keep the sims in the new location.

You can download the bad birth fix from More Awesome Than You here:

A word of caution: It's in the experimental category. So use it at your own risk. There is a read me file. I highly recommend you read it first.

Gwydion- i've already done this, i mean- i've moved my family to another house, but i'm afraid it didn't help.
I will try the badbirthfix and i will let you know if it works.
