Anyway my girlfriend made a custom neighbourhood and it seems to have removed itself from the game. I put this down to her not switching off the cheats although i'm sure I advised her to.. but that's not important...

I know why it has happened more or less and I do actually have a Back-up due to downloading stuff but i haven't backed up the saves for about a week and it would be rather spiffy if one of you nice chaps could find a way of magically resurecting the neighbourhood for me.

If not my girlfriend will not be pleased and I'll feel a bit silly for not being able to fix this...

First check if the actual neighborhood still exists inside the mydocuments\ea games\the sims 2\neighborhoods\

If it does, use SimPE, it has a function that "Fix Neighborhood ID's", .. remove the groups.cache file from my documents\ea games\the sims 2\

If the actualy entire neighborhood is gone from my documents\ea games\the sims 2\neighborhoods\

than there's not much to say besides .. well lets find out why it happened in the first place?

I tired to use SimPE on it but it had vanished and the only thing i can think of that made it vanish is the use of the boolprop cheats.

Actually i'm not sure if it has gone... the folder is still there but there is nothing in it...

This may sound silly, but are you looking under the same name as she created it under?

Had SimPE been used on that neighbourhood to edit sims? Did she happen to create a back-up of the neighbourhood at some point?

It was because of the voolprop cheats that it vanished though...
