Been trying to figure this out for awhile. One of my students is a member of the SSU SS (Landgrabb House) and after the limo drives off the screen, I get a "bong" sound and an error ("The application has crashed and will now be terminated.") during the loading screen. This is what I've done so far: I've read through the FAQs and first tried deleting "groups.cache." Same thing happens. Moved off the entire downloads folder and loaded w/o it. Do that, and he enters the SS lot w/ no trouble. So I figure it's something in downloads. Put the folder back and removed all my hacks, crashed again after reload. So it's not any of the hacks*. But the suggestion in the FAQ (to move files out [or disable w/ S2PI], then load the game, enable or move back, then repeat until the culprit is found) would take me forever (I have 4,967 packages in there). There's no faster way? (Incidently, he can enter any other lot type w/ no trouble.) On the bright side, my preordered copy of Nightlife is arriving tomorrow (confirmed) via UPS Blue. Read here that all custom content will be disabled by default. So I'll make a full backup of "EA Games", install the EP and maybe then I can enable a few things at a time until I narrow it down? *Here's a list of what hacks I have if needed: Urbz; Hacked Wishing Well of Fortune; cboy_portalfix; dailygardner; fasterbuyclothes; The "Grand Trianon" Poster Mirror Dresser (this is a hack?); Havechildnotadopt; Energizer Painting; MQ_Computer_Bank; MQ_Computer_Bank_Controller; MQ_Teleport; No Friends Needed for Careers; PaintingsStayViewable; payatbox; SameSexMarriage; Yellowpeehack; Forever Burn, Safe Fireplaces & StayThingsShrub (simlogical.com) -- names as they appear in S2PI. |

Try removing just the portal fix (cboy_portalfix). |

Yes, that was removed when I took out all the hacks, before. However I now just tried removing only that one, but it made no difference. | |
