Default Need some building help?
Happy 2017, MTS! Is one of your New Year's resolutions to improve your sim building skills? Our Creator Feedback Forum is a wonderful, welcoming place, but I understand that sometimes putting yourself out on a public forum can be scary. Now there's an alternative for you!

Mentoring for Builders is a brand new social group here on MTS that seeks to match aspiring builders with more experienced creators, and offer personal mentorship. This is a place to get help with building projects for the Sims 2, 3, or 4. If you are new to building, or if you are trying a new technique, a new style, a new game, there are experienced builders willing and able to help. Whether you want instructions or suggestions, they are happy to assist you. They are also available to help guide you through the upload process for lot creation, here on MTS. Once again the link is here.

Happy building!

Two questions: 1, are Simmers who hate building and always end up scrapping their work because it's not good enough, so they never get to play, which is the bit they do enjoy, welcome to join? And 2, are Simmers with a really specific tribal-fantasy playstyle who don't actually know what they want their games to look like, only that it can't be modern or medieval, welcome to join?

Because if it's yes to both, then I will totally sign up.

I don't know about others, but I hate judgemental people, so just post your stuff and we'll see what can be done.

Does this include people who want to make mods for The Sims 2, 3, and 4?

There is a few things Andrei. For an upload on mts you have to be prepared for someone else to say if your house is good or not. If you have already decided, that might turn out to be a too big hurdle for you. The other thing is it always pays to read the thread you're posting in

Make a new thread on the group here http://www.modthesims.info/forumdis...546&groupid=901
Post your pictures there and we will give you feedback. I can't help too much with sims 4 but others can.

I NEED HELP. if you search on downloads " The Fairytale Sky Castle (base on the Neuschwanstein castle)" there's a castle. & it has something that no other sims 3 castle Does; wall supports or properly called "corbels". I need to know how to create them for a castle I'm working on now. If ANYONE knows anything or thinks you can help please email me asap at [email protected]

This is a good idea. I was wondering why I kept reading how "easy" building is in Sims 4. I find it very difficult. I'm not sure if it's my underpowered computer, my lack of "taking time" to learn how, or just impatience (and or lack of skill!)

It can be a bit tricky to understand how it works, but as soon as you do, it works very nicely. Just join the group and make a thread.
