Certain objects "disabled"/non-interactive

Hi all,

I recently installed Open for Business (I have both of the previous expansion packs), and everything seemed to work fine until recently when I couldn't find the magazine racks, video game displays, or the cellphone/mp3 player kiosk to put in one of my stores. I had played yesterday and I was able to put those things into the store fine, but now they were nowhere to be found.

Then later I had one of my Sims go to the store where I had placed those items and they were unable to interact with them, there was no menu of options, just an arrow and that message about how there are no options for thsi object (forget the exact wording).

What's going on! Why won't it work? Please help!

Now I do! lol, thanks, that made it possible to interact with them, but I still can't find it in my inventory! I found it once before (obviously, since I put the items down in the first place), but it's no longer where it was. And I've checked all the categories, and I even redownloaded the magazine racks but it still isn't showing up. Any idea what could be the problem?

To locate an item in the catalogue which you already have on your lot, use the dropper tool [duplicate tool] in buy mode, click once on the item and the catalogue will jump to it's location in the catalogue.

You need a hack to enable community items to show on residential lots:
Luckily, jaxad0127 has already made one.
