Problems with 'Storytelling' albums

When i take pictures in the game with one family there pictures don't show up on the 'Storytelling' bit in the game however they do appear in the EA Games/Storytelling folder. With another one of my families, there pics show up in the game but not in the EA Games/Storytelling folder. I'm really confused?? Please help :(

With the pictures outside of the game, the pictures should be EA Games/The Sims 2/Neighborhoods/N00X/Storytelling, where X=the neighborhood number. With any EP installed, storytelling folders are divided by neighborhood, with the main storytelling folder only showing the most recent picture and the generic pictures.
