View Full Version : Custom Fountain Creation Question/Advice

I want to make my own fountain, but I want to minimize the number of people who would not be able to download it (since I want to make mostly base-game compatible objects for a set I am working on). I was thinking I could clone a base game and let it play the loop for the fountain's water trickling; this way, even if the user did not have an EP with a fountain to hear the sound, they could still have the fountain. However, I cannot find the loop for the sound so I am thinking that I probably should just clone a fountain. If I clone from one EP (such as one of the Uni fountains), would people without that particular EP (but another EP) still be able to use it? Unless I am mistaken, every EP has a fountain so if I just instructed the object to play the loop, would the game find and use the loop that (I assume) to be included somewhere in each EP? I have looked at the Uni fountains but I did not see any sounds listed in the BHAVs or text lists. A quick look at the semiglobals indicated that the only thing added was for the "prank" interaction. Would any clone of any fountain work as long as the person had an EP?

What would be the best thing for me to do?
