Apartment Buliding?

Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to have an apartment building, similair to dorms, but without University. Like, If I build a big building, can I make several people live in there, but select them "one family at a time"?

do I need a certain Expansion Pack?

also, could it be like dorms where only the person who owns the apartment can go in their own room?

There's really no good way to do this except maybe with keyholder doors (you can get 'em at simlogical.com) but even so the families still can't be really played separate, just kept to their separate houses.

But the next expansion out will be Apartment Life which will do just this... so you could just wait for that. :)

Yep! You can get more info and participate in the discussion about it here: http://forums.sims2community.com/forumdisplay.php?f=94 ... that's on S2C, which is affiliated with us here at MTS2, but requires separate registration. You won't need to register just to view stuff though. :)
