I don't think I have shown these ones yet, so I will start

Just before my computer died on me I made this African inspired living room. One of the sims living in the house is an adventure, so I thouht it would be fitting to give him a living room to go with the career. The rest of the house isn't this style at all, but is decorated with the old shaggy season sets.

BP, I love Don's kitchen. Makes me want to redo his home (especially since I've become quite fond of him).I also like the use of mostly Maxis objects.

Maxis has some amazing stuff though so it's also a matter of using what comes with game where you can. I really make an effort with that.

I put my decorating hat on and had a go at one of those little Uni rental houses that Lilith and August moved into. Lilith is studying Art, hence all the arty stuff. I wanted it to look like they had furniture cast off's like uni students would have. I also tried to make the house so it all didn't match but came together somehow. I'm not sure how well I succeeded on both counts.

Thank you, I had a lot of fun decorating it. And as for the mix of Maxis and CC, I find that even though I love downloading furniture and such from sites, once I go in game I rarely use a lot of it, either because it doesn't function properly or it doesn't look as good as I thought it would. But I love these flowers (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=234296) and these plants (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=195044) that I downloaded from macarossi--I use them everywhere!
