In this roleplay the 'kids' will no doubt be more active than the adults.

Alex smiled, scanning the party crowd, her brusing was light, and what was left was covered with heavy make-up.
She was wearing a strapless black dress (http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/images/unbranded/r/unbranded-ruched-strapless-dress-black-s-m-fits.jpg) with black wedges...well, on one foot.
Her hair was curled lightly, framing her light face, which was covered with mascara, some eyeliner, red lipstick and gloss, black eyeshadow around her eyes.
Then she spotted Max.
'Shiiiiii*' She muttered, attempting to get away, but he had already placed a hand on her shoulder.
'Hey! Wow, Alex...you've uh, certainly...blossomed, not the little girl who used to chase my dog around the garden'
She let out a nervous laugh, Max was her neighbour before Katie and before Mr and Mrs. Raxberry.
In addition, she had had the BIGGEST crush on him EVER.
'Hi Max' She replied, trying hard to maintain total aloofness 'what you been up to then?'
'Well' He began before taking a swig of beer 'Gatecrashing this party 'course, but hey, I know Luke, he won't mind...what happened then?'
'Oh, um, fell off a balcony, haha'
'Cool cool' He mumbled, nodding 'Hey, you wanna go out the back...that's where the fun is!'
He laughed and made a smoking gesture, before rolling his eyes back.
Alex thought he meant regular smoking, and nodded nervously.
'Sweet' He replied, linking up with her working arm.

He offered her what she assumed was a hand-rolled cigarette, she carefully placed it in her mouth, she had smoked before, and wasn't worried.
Of course, this wasn't a cigarette.
He flicked on the lighter and she inhaled, holding back a cough.

--- 1 HOUR LATER ---
Alex burst in, carried by Max.
'Oh oh! Luke!' She called, waving her working arm 'W-why Luke? Can't I walk?'
'Are you drunk?' Someone hissed.
'Hahahaha!!' Alex laughed loudly 'No, I'm...I'm, what did you say it was Max?'
The older boy laughed, stroking her hair.
'High, love'
'HIGH!!' She screamed, laughing manically 'I...I am high!!'
She burst into a fit of giggles.
'I- I looove you Maaax' He put her down and went to get a beer, laughing lightly 'I looooooove you aaaaaall!!!'
She attempted to stand up again but fell back down.
'Awww, no fair! Luke, pick me up! Like a baby!'
She rolled around on her back.
'Baby! Baby! Baby! Baby!'
Bursting into another fit of laughs, she grabbed hold of her brothers foot.
'Ahahaha!! Hey, hey Max! The rice paper you gave me makes the floor move! Ahahaha!! Luke, Luke, your foot is growing!! Oh my god, this is greeeeat!'

Luke stood with a group of friends, a beer in one hand and a girl in the other. He laughed and joked around with them. The girl on Luke's arm started to giggle and Luke noticed she was drunk, he raised an eyebrow to his friends and put down the beer standing the girl infront of him "Ali is it?" he asked, the girl nodded and he smiled "Why don't me and you head to-" Luke was interupted by his sister and some boy burtisting in the hall laughing.
He instantly realised what was up and pushed Ali out his way and stood infront of Alex and the boy who he now recognized as Max.

Luke stood in shock as Alex and Max stood laughing, Luke went to step forward at Max when he left and headed towards the bar. Luke's eyes narrowed and he went to chase after Max but Alex grabbbed his foot, stopping him in his path

'Ahahaha!! Hey, hey Max! The sugar paper you gave me makes the floor move! Ahahaha!! Luke, Luke, your foot is growing!! Oh my god, this is greeeeat!'
Luke grabbed his sisters wrist and pulled her up, dragging her outside the hall and pushing her infront of him "Alex, what the f*ck is wrong with you?" he demanded "Your f*cking high. You stupid little girl, drugs are gunna mess up your head big time. Do you bloody want that. Do you wanna end up a f*cking addict on the streets with no money?" he shouted. Luke let out a sigh as he turned away from Alex, he never usualy shouted at her, he didn't like to but when she screwed up he couldn't keep the anger inside. He let out a grone and hit a near-by wall before looking back at Alex, waiting for a reply of somesort.

Alex's eyes widened, her eyes welled, she didn't understand why Luke was shouting, not in her state.
'I-I just had a cigarette, Max asked me to, then he gave me some other stuff, he said it was rice paper'
She pointed innocently to the older boy, tears beginning to spill down her cheeks. She was so confused, she didn't understand what she had done, she honestly believed Max.

Luke looked at his sister, tears slowly falling down her cheeks. He let out a sigh and wrapped his arms around Alex, pulling her into a hug and stroking her hair "Sorry I shouted its just...im your older brother. Im meant to look out for you and it, it just made me angry. Look, you need to clean yourself up and get a drink...a flat non alcoholic one" he chuckled and noticed Alex start to smile slightly "Come on, I noticed a vending machine and a water dispenser on the way in" he put an arm round her shoulder walking towards the machines

Alex sipped at the bottled water, wretching if she took too large a gulp.
Shivering, she took a deep breath and addressed her brother, her voice shaking.
'M-Max lied...didn't he?...It wasn't rice paper, was it?'
She let out a 'guh' noise and covered her mouth with her hand, shaking voilently.
'I don't like it, Luke...I feel sick...he lied, I don't like this stuff, he lied'
She breathed deeply, her eyes watering.

Luke smiled sweetly at Alex and handed her a napkin to try her tears "Of course he lied, he's a ba*tard" Luke mumbled
"I never liked him...I didn't even invite him" Luke thought for a moment then looked back at Alex "Then what the hell is he doing here?" Luke asked puzzeled, starring at Alex. He stepped back from her and pulled his mobile from his jeans pocket. After a minute or so, he slipped it back in his pocket and smiled at Alex.
Within seconds two tall guys came out the hall dragging Max with them and throwing him out. Luke laughed and looked back at Alex who seemed in a better mood "Fell better now?" he asked, smiling as the two men stood by the door guarding the entrance.

Alex laughed lightly as Max cursed and flailed, before falling flat on his face after a light push.
Walking over on her crutches, her loooked up at her with dialted, blooshot, eyes.
'Hey...hey Alex, help me up! C'mon!'
'You lied' She replied, eyes dark and half-asleep 'You didn't say it was drugs'
The boy laughed, still on the ground.
'Well, duh, you're thick as s**t you are you little b*tch!'
Alex frowned and kicked him hard in the head, he shrieked and mumbled something before passing out, breathing heavily.
She turned to her brother, rubbing her eyes with her working hand.
'Lets head back in...uuugh...I'm-I I'm shattered'
They headed back in, Alex's vision blurred and whirling.
Lowering herself down on a P.E. bench, her eyelids heavy and closing, her eyes sore.
'I'm- I'm gonna...just- just...rest' She slowly lay down on the bench, her soft hair cascading over her face, she had fallen asleep.

Luke laughed quietly as Alex layed herself down on the bench, her eyes slowly closing. He let out a sigh and knelt (sp?) down next to her, he couldn't just leave her but there was not much worse then babysitting your little sister on your 18th when you could be enjoying yourself "Alex. Look I don't wanna leave you but...I don't really wanna stay out here". Luke hung his head and waited for Alex to reply.
After a few moments, Luke heard quiet snoring. He looked back up and noticed Alex's mouth open and her eyes still closed, he laughed and stood back up "Ill check back in a while" he smiled and headed back to the hall.
When he entered, Luke noticed Katie stood alone by the drinks table and walked over to her smiling
"Hey" he shouted "Having fun?"

Alex's eyes flickered open, she shot up, looking around before remembering where she was.
Stretching, she heaved herself up on her crutches and wandered home, a light drizzle irritating her on the way.
Stepping inside, Magic greeted her with a food-seeking mew, his eyes wide and begging.
Laughing, she poured some dry cat food from the box and he proceeded to munch away, quite content.
She changed into her pajamas, which was rather difficult in her casts.
Snuggling into her bed, Magic purring beside her, she instantly felt at ease.
The rain outside was calming, she also broke into a smile at the thought of Luke having to trudge home, soaking.
She was half asleep when the rumble of thunder abrubtly awoke her, frowning, she sat up and flicked on the lamp, Magic mewing in annoyance.
Drawing back the curtains, she sat back on her bed and began watching the rain, every so often interrupted by a strike of lightning.
Snapping her fingers, she suddenly relalised that she had not told Luke she had gone, reaching over to her mobile, she tapped in his number and attempted a text, but had no signal due to the rain.
She worried slightly, not wanting him thinking that she'd been abducted or anything.
Shaking her head, she leaned against the windowsill, he'd be way to pissed to notice by the end of the night, anyway. Besides, he'd check here if he did start looking for her. It'd be fine. Wouldn't it?

Katie saw Luke and he asked her if she was having fun. "Yeah." She said, her sweet tone much different than that of the blaring music. "So how's it feel to be 18?" She asked, taking a sip of her drink (water).

Luke grinned starring at Katie "18 is great" he laughed. Luke grabbed a bottle of beer from the table behind Katie and smiled. The music blarred out the giant speakers. People were dancing everywhere, others talking with friends and the odd couple making out. Luke grinned then looked at Katie but looked at the ceiling as she starred back "So. Sure your ok?" Katie looked back and nodded "Good. Why don't you come with me and come meet some people" he laughed grabbing Katie's arm and pulling her to a group of people.
Luke pushed his way through the small crowds and smiled as he reached a small group "Katie. These are your fellow team-mates" he chuckled and nodded at the group "Guys incase you didn't know, this is Katie"

Katie was brought to a group of guys. Some of them were in states of slight drunkeness, and the guy named Jesse looked the most sober out of the bunch. He smiled, and held out his hand for Katie to shake. "Nice to see you again." He said. She shook his hand, and smiled. "Yeah." She said, and turned to Luke, "I met Jesse after we all tried out."

Jesse then smiled again. "Well, if you all don't mind, I'll steal Luke away from you all." He said, and walked with Luke outside. He took a look back at Katie and turned to his friend. "Wow, she is...gorgeous." He said as he watched Katie smile as she talked to some of her teammates.

Luke looked up from the floor as Jesse spoke "Who's gorgeous?" he asked then followed Jesse's gaze to Katie "Katie? Well yeah I guess she is kinda hot" he smiled then looked back at Jesse who couldn't stop starring at Katie. Luke laughed and clapped his hands infront of his face "So, why did you bring me out here? Wait a second do you 'like' Katie?" he asked grinning and punching his friends arm playfully "Is that why we are out here?"

Jesse shrugged. "Well, yeah. So do you know if she's single?" He asked.

Luke raised an eyebrow and looked from Jesse to Katie
"I think she is" Luke smiled and looked back at Jesse "and I think she likes you too" he winked, nudging his friends arm

Jesse smiled. "That's good." He said. "I think I'll ask her out. I mean, I heard that Lacey wants to get back with you." He looked to a small blonde girl with brown eyes and a large chest.

Luke grinned "Lacey! I guess she can't get enough of me" he laughed "Thats if she can trust me after I 'supposedly cheated' on her" He teased and turned back to Jesse. He looked at Katie, she was laughing with the guys and seemed to be the only sober one "I say go for it man. What's stoppin ya?" Luke asked smiling

Jesse nodded."Yeah." He said, "Thanks for the uh....encouragement, man." He walked inside and talked to Katie for most of the night, dancing with her once.

Lacey walked up to Luke with a smile."Hey." She said. "So, um, big 18." She added a smile and a giggle. "It's so good to see you again. You know, I've missed you since we broke it off."

Luke leant on the shoulder of one of his friends, laughing and joking. He moved away from them as Lacey walked towards him with a smile "It's so good to see you again. You know, I've missed you since we broke it off."
"Its good to see you as well...your looking as great as always" he laughed and grinned at her "Well I am irresistible so no wonder you missed me" he chuckled. Out the corner of his eye Luke could see Jesse and Katie talking and having a good time "So whats this I hear about you wanting to get back with me? Did you realize you made a mistake in chucking me?" he teased, running a finger down Laceys arm

Lacey smiled. "I simply thought that your life must be empty without me." She said, putting her hands on her hips and pouting her lips in an attempt to be sexy. Her face wasn't extraordinaryily gorgeous, but it was okay. She used her tan body to lure boys, anyway. She took her hand and let it rest on his shoulder. She led him to a remote little area, where they.....got back together.

When they got done making out, Lacey walked back into the party with Luke. Katie saw them holding hands and tried to hide her confusion and shock. She had a date with Jesse now, so maybe Luke had found out. She sighed, but then Jesse appeared with drinks. "No alchohol, I swear." He said with a smile. Katie smiled back. "Thanks." She said.

Luke strolled in hand in hand with Lacey. He noticed Katie and Jesse and smiled at them, 'seems he did ask her out' Luke thought and grinned.

The rest of the night passed so quickly. Luke drank lots more and continued to hang out with his friends and make-out with Lacey who was also on her to becoming drunk. "So how bout that cake?" one of Luke's friends asked, Luke chuckled and placed a hand on his friends shoulder "I don't really fancy everyone singing happy birthday to me like im a little kid" Luke sighed "Besides. Most...nearly everyone is drunk" he laughed "Wait that could be quite funny. OK CAKE TIME!" Luke shouted above the music. The DJ cut the music and everyone gatherd round the cake.
Luke tried to stop himself laughing as his friends tried to sing 'Happy Birthday' whilst drunk. After he cut the cake people started to leave and Luke stood by the door to say goodbye to them

Katie walked to the door after nearly everyone left, and saw Luke."Hey." She said with a smile. "The party was fun."

Luke smiled as Katie appered by his side "Yeah it was. Thanks for coming by the way" he nodded and noticed Jesse near the other entrance and looked back at Katie "So?" he smiled "You and Jesse" he teased, nudging Katie's arm gently

Katie was about to explain that she was just going to go on one date with Jesse when both Jesse and Lacey walked up. Katie hid her jealousy well as Lacey hung on Luke in her drunken state. Jesse was only slightly buzzed, though. They said goodbye and went outside. Jesse walked to his car and Katie ran up and blocked his door.

"No, no." She said, "I'll drive you home."
"What, why?"
"You were drinking."
"Only a little." Jesse was still adorable, even when he was picking up Katie and moving her from the door. She took his hand and when she let go, he fell down. When he got up, he had a small cut on his face. Katie helped him to her car and got a band-aid. She always kept a first aid kit in her car. She drove to a cafe and got coffee to sober Jesse up, and they spent a few hours in her car, talking and listening to music.

And then he kissed her. She shrunk back at first, but was starting to like Jesse. He was sweet, and he didn't have girls all over him. They said their goodnights and she dropped him off at his house, not expecting to makeout with him outside her car.

She went home, took a shower, and went to bed.

OOC: So sorry I didn't reply. Ive been super busy with coursework the past few days. And yes we can skip a couple of days


Luke awoke to the sound of their neighbour mowing his lawn. He groned and threw his covers off him and off the bed. It was a Sunday morning and waking up before 11 is considered early for Luke, he shook his head and ran a hand through his blonde hair.
With a stretch and a yawn Luke stood from the bed and pushd open his bedroom door walking along the hallway and down the stairs. A list of chores sat pinned to the fridge door and Luke once again groned and turned away from the fridge hoping it would vanish. He looked around and noticed nobody was about 'Strange. Wonder where they are?'

Luke grabbed a glass from the sink sideboard and filled it with water. He had a slight hang-over from a late night out with his friends and it had taken its toll. He yawned again and noticed Katie sat on the wall outside her house. He smiled and pulled open the window, infront of him "Katie" he called "Morning" he chuckled again noticing her look up at him

Alex stumbled downstairs, her hair tousled, wearing one of her brother or fathers t-shirts as a nightdress.
'Hey' She mumbled towards her sibling, grabbing a bowl and a box of cereal, she gave Katie a small smile and a wave, how the hell was she up and running at this time in the morning? 'I was thinking of going to that waterpark in Poole, Splashdown, the outdoor rides are open for spring and summer, wanna grab Katie and a couple of mates and head down with your nice new driving license?'

Katie declined the invitation and went inside to call Jesse.

"Hey." She said.
"Hi. What's up?"
"There's a party this weekend, at this kid's house, and it'd be great if we could go, but I'll need a ride."
"I wouldn't pass up a chance to see you. In fact, want to hang out at my place today? We could go swimming."
"You have a pool?"
"Yeah, I'll see you in about 10 minutes?"
"See you soon." She said, and changed into a bathing suit. She pulled on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt after applying sunscreen.

She arrived at Jesse's and they swam and talked for a while. As they were watching TV, the show became boring. Jesse kissed her and she kissed him back. His hands ran over her body, and she became a little uncomfortable. He seemed to notice this, and instead, kissed her neck as an apology. A few minutes later, he started getting handsy again. "Jesse--"
"What?"
"I'm not exactly...comfortable--"
"Oh, I'm so sorry."
"It's okay--"
"I can drive you home--"
"Okay."

So they drove to her house. Jesse walked Katie up to her window. They sat on her tree swing and talked before they kissed goodnight. Katie felt herself becoming more and more uncomfortable with Jesse the more he kissed her. She said goodbye and went to bed.

Luke stayed home that day and sat watching TV. When he finally had enough energy, Luke pushed himself off the sofa and made his way into the kitchen. He looked out the window and noticed Jesse leaving Katie's house. He leaned closer to the window and ducked down behinde the counter incase there was a chance Jesse sore him spying. Standing back up Luke noticed Katie's bedroom light on and smiled. Pulling on his trainers he quielty opened the front door and made his way across the street.

It had become quite cold as it got later, hoping over the gate Luke walked to Katie's window. As he reached it he noticed the lights turn off, cursing quielty he knocked on the window hoping not to startle Katie he smiled

Katie smiled when she saw Luke. She quietly walked over to her window.

"Hey." She said in a whisper."

Luke pulled himself up onto the window ledge and smiled. He could hardly see Katie's face although he did notice her Pjs in the dim light. His smile turned to a massive grin "So I know its most girls fantacy to have a boy climb the house and sit on the window ledge in moonlight but its kinda cold out here" he laughed and waited for Katie to move or even push him off the ledge

Katie smiled. "Well, it's also only a few feet up." She said, and moved so he could come in the room. She wore a pair of shorts and a tank top, but she was comfortable around Luke, so she didn't put on a sweatshirt.

Climbing in the window, Luke brushed his jeans then looked Katie up and down before turning away and observing her room "Cool room you got here" he laughed then glanced at the bed then at her "Even nicer bed" he winked and sat on the edge of it smiling to himself.

Katie was putting clothes into a drawyer. She smiled at his comment. "It's comfortable enough." She replied slyly and put the laundry basket she held onto the floor, sorting out her t-shirts, folding them, and placing them into a drawyer. She finished and turned around. "So...how's life?" She asked, closing the window.

Luke watched Katie put her clothes away then looked at the ceiling everytime she turned round. Noticeing her stop and turn back to him, Luke smiled
"So...how's life?"
"Life is good" he replied looking at the outline of Katie's body as she closed the window "Really...really good" he addded letting out a breath then looking at the floor as she turned round "You?"

"It's okay." She said, sitting down next to him and turning on the tv. "My dad's in rehab. My aunt is actually living here now."

Luke looked back at Katie as she sat next to him and turned on the TV
"Oh...does she mind you having boys in your room" he asked, avoding the subject of her dad in rehab

"She's out, actually." Katie answered. "She went to see my cousins at my uncle's house, so I actally have the house to myself for once."

Luke raised an eyebrow "Really?" he quesioned leaning closer to Katie, now inces away from her face "How convenient that im here" he winked and laughed quietly

Katie smiled and laughed with Luke. But a moment later, she noticed Luke's expression and his eyes staring right into hers, and felt his hand on her waist. She spoke quietly. "What are you doing?" She asked, even though she knew. She could feel an attraction, but she was confused. There was Jesse to think about, even Lacey. Her expression was one not of anger or annoyance, but she was confused. She hoped Luke wasn't.

Luke laughed louder then leaned away from Katie "Don't worry Katie. I wouldn't do that to you or Jesse" He stopped laughing as Katie's face became more serious "...Sorry I didn't mean it. It was a joke" He stood up from the bed and walked back to the window, starring out of it "Want me to go?" he asked still with his back to her. He hoped she wasn't to upset.

"Um, yeah." She said, and when she thought Luke was gone, leaned against a wall and slid down it, running her hands through her hair stressfully. She didn't notice him looking in. She'd see him at the halloween party the next day.

Katie stood in front of her mirror. She wore a mod dress, so it was fairly short. She had her hair in a low ponytail and had large earrings. Her eyes were accentuated by mascara and twiggy like eyelashes drawn in on the bottom lashes. She wore a pair of shorts underneath and a pair of flats. She really looked 'hot'.

She heard Jesse's car and went outside with a coat on. He was dressed as a basketball player....original. She excused this and left with him. They arrived at the house about 10 minutes later.

The night was going fine, and Katie was doing fine avoiding Luke and Lacey, until she walked into a room they were making out in. She found Jesse and they danced. "Hey, follow me." He said, and she did. They walked into a bedroom, and it was quiet. Katie was happy about that. While she was enjoying the quiet, Jesse came behind her and kissed her neck softly. His kisses became more heated, so that Katie felt almost....weak. "Jesse....Jesse, stop--" She managed to say as they were near the bed. He grabbed her wrists and she struggled before the door opened and Luke was in the doorway. Katie's dress was half unzipped and her hair was out of its ponytail. Jesse's pants were unbuttoned, and Katie looked frightened.

Luke was enjoying the party, drinking, talking and the occasional dance with Lacey. He kept looking for Katie but he never sore her, letting it slide he leaned closer to Lacey and wispered in her ear "Upstairs?" she nodded and lead him out the room to the bedrooms upstairs. Laughing as the ran upstairs Luke stepped infront of Lacey and opened a bedroom door

As they stood in the door way a quiet scream disturbed the silence, Luke looked up and noticed Katie in a short dress and Jesse stood beside her, his bottoms unbuttoned "Oh umm...sorry" Luke laughed, he was about to leave when he noticed Katies scared face "is everything OK?" he asked letting go of Lacey's hand and stepping in the room

Katie took a look at Jesse, and he shook his head. "She's fine." He said, and went to put his arm around her, but Katie moved. He grabbed her wrist and she pulled away from him. "God, Katie. You're so f**king sensitive!" He added after Luke left the room. He stepped toward her and sighed. "I'm sorry." He said, "I just...god, you're..." He pulled her toward him and hungrily kissed her again, holding onto her wrists while he pressed her legs against the side of the bed. Her legs gave out and she fell with Jesse on top of her. She struggled and this time Jesse didn't hear or see Luke, but he definitely felt the sucker punch.

Grabbing the back of Jesse's shirt, Luke pulled him off of Katie and threw him on the floor of the room. Stepping away from him Luke turned to Katie and went to help her up but Jesse grabbed his arm and swung him round punching him in the face. Lacey let out a yelp and ran from the room. Luke fell to the floor and grabbed his nose starring up at Jesse "What the f*** dude" he asked pulling himself up with the help of a bedside cabnet

Katie saw Luke get punched and saw Jesse wind up to punch him again, but grabbed his wrist and was pushed. She got up and saw Luke punch Jesse, who ran from the room. Katie now noticed the tears on her face, and walked up to Luke, looking at his nose. It didn't appear to be broken, and wasn't bleeding. "Are you okay?" She asked quietly.

Luke looked up as Katie knelt down infront of him "Yeah im fine. Although if he keeps that up ill take him off the team" Luke stated and stood up, sitting on the edge of the bed holding his nose "All better" he laughed and starred at Katie "Are you ok?" he asked moving over so Katie could sit next to him.

Katie shook her head. "Well, I lost a boyfriend....who probably only wanted me for..." She trailed off, and wiped her eye. "It's partially my fault, though. I practically led him on. I probably made him think that I was the kind of girl to have sex at a halloween house party."

She stood up, and paced. She could feel Luke staring at her, and turned around. "And you....I can't figure you out, Luke! One minute you want me and then the next I'm a friend, and you're sucking face with her." She paused. "Oh, my god, I sound like a jealous b**ch."

Luke hung his head in shame as Katie finshed talking, still turned away from him.
Letting out a sigh Luke stood from the bed and stood behind Katie, he went to touch her shoulder but stopped mid-air and let it fall to his side "I don't know Katie. I mean im the type of guy who...you know, has loads of girls and never really gives a crap about them" he laughed but noticed Katie let out a sigh and stopped. Walking infront of her so she would have to look at him, Luke held her shoulder and lifted her head "Im sorry. But you come into my life and for some reason I feel different around you then any other girl" he sighed and let go off her shoulder and looked at the floor "you have no idea how hard that was to say" he mumbled

Katie heard what Luke had to say and then stepped forward, hugging him, and closing her eyes. She then looked at Luke, who leaned in to kiss her. She backed away, and said one word. "...Lacey." She said quietly, and Luke sighed. "What are you going to tell her? Because if...this...is going anywhere, she needs to be spared of the hurt of being cheated on."

Luke sighed, he had forgotten about Lacey. Looking away from Katie, Luke let go off her waist "Your right...ill tell her" he replied and left the room, glancing at Katie before he left.

Decending the stairs Luke noticed Jesse talking to Lacey. They hadn't seen him so he ducked behind the wall and leant against it, hidden enough to not be seen but close enough to see what was going on. Lacey touched Jesse face where Luke had punched him and bit her lip. Luke cursed to himself as he couldn't hear what they were saying.
Jesse laughed and took Lacey's hand leaning closer to wispear in her ear. Luke raised his brow in confusion and noticed Lacey lean away her face in shock, then it hit Luke he was probaly telling her about him and Katie. Luke looked around before making a bee-line for the stairs and running back towards the room where Katie still sat.

Running in the room, Luke caught his breath and closed the door, leaning against it "I think she knows...thanks to Jesse" Luke groned, not looking at Katie

"What did he tell her?" Katie asked, feeling embarassed, staring at the carpeted floor. She looked up at him with her blue eyes and then looked away. "He's probably gonna lie and say I slept with him, right?" She didn't wait for an answer, and walked past Luke and down the stairs to Jesse and Lacey. He started to say something, and went to put his arm around her, and she kicked him in a very inconvenient place for a guy to be kicked. Lacey looked at her, shocked. "Unlike some girls, I don't sleep with someone after dating them for a month." She said, and walked outside of the house.

A few minutes later, she heard footsteps, and turned around. "Hey." She said to Luke.

Luke followed Katie out the house and smiled as she turned round "Remind me to never make you angry" he laughed and placed his arm round her shoulder still walking down the street.
Luke looked up at the sky, it was slightly cold but not a single cloud was around and each star seemed to shine even more brightly then before. Luke noticed Katie looking up at him and smiled "So, what now then?" he asked letting go of Katie's shoulder and spinning her round to face him

Katie shrugged with a shy smile. "Well, I...." She started, and put her hands on Luke's shoulders as she nearly tripped over the crack in the sidewalk. She recovered and pulled her hands back cautiously before they found Luke's hands. She cautiously stepped closer to Luke so that they held their hands between them.

Luke stepped closer as did Katie and took her hands "Well...we could go...umm you know what I really have no idea" he laughed and lowered his head looking at the floor "Unless you want me to walk you home?" he asked looking back up at Katie, smiling.

Katie smiled and nodded. "Or we could just walk." She said as they crossed the street to a playground that was nearby. They sat on the swings and talked for a while before the subject of them came up. Katie merely smiled a small smile and leaned her swing and body closer to Luke. "You know...I was...jealous...for a while."

"I don't know". Katie said, "Maybe I thought that it would be best if you figured it out without my...interference?" She noticed him leaning closer and she leaned in, too. "What about you?" She asked quietly.

"Was I jealous?" he asked, rasing an eyebrow "I don't really get...yeah I was" he laughed and noticed a smile spread across Katie's face "But don't look to happy about it" he grinned and rested his hands on Katie's swing "I really love your smile" he wispered in her ear

Katie smiled and blushed slightly, a slight shiver going down her spine as he whispered in her ear. She turned her head to make eye contact, and then stood up, taking Luke's hand and continuing to walk home. They got to Katie's house and walked to Luke's backyard and into his kitchen. They went into Luke's room and watched some t.v. Eventually, they were cuddling and made eye contact. Katie leaned in and kissed him.

Luke was taken by shock as Katie kissed him, not wasting a second Luke kissed her back then ran his hand along her arm and down her back. It felt like a first kiss even though they had already kissed and much more passionatly then this.
Luke leant over Katie and went to pull her closer to him when he rolled of the side of the bed and landed on the floor with a thud, looking up at Katie's face he chuckled and rubbed the back of his head "I swear if I get another injury tonight" he moaned and sat up resting his head on the bed were Katie still sat starring down at him.

Katie kissed Luke back and held back a laugh as he fell. "You okay?" She asked with a smile. She held out a hand to help him up.

Luke took Katie's hand and pulled himself up from the floor "Yeah im fine thanks" he laughed and sat on the edge of the bed rubbing his sore head "Although im pretty sure I lost a few brain cells with that fall" he added and fell back, lying down on the bed.
Luke felt Katie watching him and heard her talking but none of it sunk in and soon his eyes shut and he drifted to sleep.

Katie awoke in the morning, next to Luke. She smiled and got off of his bed. She went to her house and showered, changing into a pair of jeans and a tank top. She dried her hair and went back to Luke's house, going into his room and waking him up.
