Two Issues

#1 When one of my toddler sims grew into a child my 2nd toddler just disappeared I have no idea where he went. #2 When I bought a cake and had my newly grown Child blow out the candles she instantaneously had a 2nd birthday and grew into a teenager

#1: No idea.

#2: I have found the birthday cakes twitchy and I noticed when I selected blow out the candles for X, the option remained to blow out the candles for X, Y or Z. Might you have selected blow out candles for X twice?
