Meet Tom Riddle, a clever, handsome teenager who seems to be on everybody’s good side. Whatever he aspires to do in his life he is sure to excel in. He has top marks in school, and his classmates idolize him. Even more remarkable is the fact that he only recently moved to Pleasantview.

Left at a rundown orphanage as a baby, Tom never knew his parents. His mom, he was told, died upon giving birth to him. The whereabouts of his father are unknown. Based on his outward personality, one would never assume he had such a broken past. Tom is very personable, seeming able to gain anyone’s trust and interest almost instantly. He is already rubbing noses with some of the top people in town, such as Pleasantview’s mayor, Vita Alto.

Some did question this opportunistic teen. He seemed almost too good to be true. One couldn’t put a finger on it exactly, but there seemed to be something amiss…

Who is this man? Recently making appearances around Pleasantview, he is definitely not a guy you want to cross. You don’t have to be observant to know that this guy is trouble. Pale, clammy skin, red, unforgiving eyes, and a crumpled, disfigured nose reveal a frightening character. Most avoid this man. Those who have been around him only know him as Lord Voldemort, an apparent self-proclaimed title.
Currently holding the title of Super Villain, Lord Voldemort isn’t satisfied until he reaches the top. The current Emperor of Evil, Voldemort’s boss, is all that stands in his way.
Lord Voldemort returns from another day of work; still unable to get the promotion he so desires. As he walks in his front door, he notices the unusually large number of ghosts loitering in his foyer. He was used to seeing one or two at around this hour, but this was odd. Yes, definitely odd. Could it be perhaps due to… ah no it couldn’t be. However, he was curious. It wouldn’t hurt to check.

The Dark Lord heads down the dimly lit staircase to his cellar. The air is cool and damp. A faint, acidic unpleasant smell is also present. Voldemort reaches the bottom quickly and walks through a rusty metal gate.

And there he was! Jack Bunch, dully waving at him. Such absence of respect. Doesn’t he know who HE is? THE Dark Lord. Well, he sighed, such insubordination is what got him here in the first place.
Voldemort thought back to when this apparition was the maid that was sent over to clean his house. Very dissatisfied with the quality of the man’s work, The Lord did not hesitate to fire the incompetent. Jack, provoked by the sinister homeowner, responded with expressing his own feelings. Well, such verbal contempt was not something Voldemort took lightly. Colors flew between the two, and Voldemort proceeded to ‘show’ Mr. Burnch his basement. A pool of water sits in said basement. Details on what event followed seem unnecessary…

As he heads back up the stairs, two things are on Voldemort's mind. Most immediate is his desire for a promotion, and a plan to get it. He was sure he could coax his boss to step down...one way or another. Secondly, he thought about how the ghost of Jack Bunch had appeared. He wasn't too worried about this though, as interacting with ghosts was almost commonplace for him.
