I am seeking advice on the most efficient way to perform these functions; I have researched this somewhat, but don't have any answers:

1) extracting a mesh, editing, and replacing. Default or non-default.
2) extracting textures that were assigned a default mesh and applying to a non-default mesh.

I have read tutorials on CTU, but didn't see this addressed specifically.

Thanks for your help.

1) extracting a mesh, editing, and replacing. Default or non-default.

Upen CTu, select mesh, extract meshes, edit meshes using Blender or Milkshape, go to meshes tab, enter new mesh name, put the different lod meshes in the boxes, commit, save. Note that fat morpfs etc. don't work, yet.

2) extracting textures that were assigned a default mesh and applying to a non-default mesh.

Where is the problem? Load default mesh, add design, extract textures, open non-default mesh package and import textures.
