New custom content - community lots + worlds

S3CC (Sims 3 Custom Content) is a place for people to download innovative and imaginative new worlds, lots and other items for the SIms 3. S3CC create and host a variety of different Sims 3 content; from new and exiting worlds to state of the art houses and community lots. Started in March 2010 S3CC saw the release of Paradise Island, a Sims 3 world incorporating many features learned and honed through 'play testing' a variety of different game features and then tailoring a world to suit. Created using EA's Create A World Tool this world was the first, we believe, to use new methods to create a 'multi island' layout. Paradise Island features three separate islands linked by bridges and is fully functional. Many worlds which we looked at and played prior to creating Paradise Island had similar designs but none were successful in getting any bridges longer than the standard bridge piece. Developers at S3CC have been successful in overcoming this problem and creating a stunning and useable bridge connecting the islands north and south islands together, over a picturesque expanse of water.

Currently we have a choice of community lots and a world.

Paradise Island is based on a pacific island with artificial sandbanks and almost endless real estate in many interesting and exiting locations. Sims will find the Island offers many exiting housing prospects and communal advantages.

Paradise Island is in fact made up of three separate islands all linked by road bridges, the main island is the central location for careers and where the island main town is located. There are a further two islands, one man made and the other natural, which offer other career opportunities and provide stunningly beautiful locations to live.

There are many facilities located around the simply enormous map for Sims to enjoy, from a fully equipped and architected pool to a modern gym and restaurant, Sims will never again be left with nothing to do on long, lazy sunny afternoons.

Paradise Island also incorporates many of the features seen in the World Adventures Expansion, features such as bridges and innovative landscaping and road networks are incorporated into the world to give it a new level of playability.

Requirements - For full functionality the Sims 3 base game plus World Adventures Expansion pack are required. A second release of this world has removed the WA features for non expansion pack players.
Recommendations - Sims with a fairly healthy bank balance due to the increased property value on this island.

Custom lots and other content may be required for initial full play although these are not essential and can be downloaded from this site by visiting the 'Downloads' link and selecting 'Custom Lots', various other Sims 3 sites and the EA Sims 3 Exchange.
